Looking for experienced deeptech entrepreneurs
For several of our soon-to-be-founded ventures we are looking to complete the founding team with experienced entrepreneurs.
This is a unique opportunity to co-found a deeptech startup based on world-class research, strong IP positions, and long-term societal and economic impact.
We are specifically interested in entrepreneurs who bring hands-on leadership experience and who know what it takes to build a company from the ground up.
Requirements
- Clear intention to be a full-time entrepreneur
- Proven experience as an entrepreneur in a tech-heavy company
- Demonstrated experience with raising venture funding (at least €2M)
- Comfortable operating in early-stage, uncertain, and fast-evolving environments
- Ability to secure launching customers
What to expect
Starting a deeptech startup is high-risk and high-impact. In the early phase:
- Management fees are very limited and risks are high
- As full-time founder of a TNO spin-off expect a substantial equity stake
- The focus is on value creation, technology validation, involving pilot customers, and fundraising
- Upside comes primarily from equity and long-term growth, not short-term compensation
